Course Modules:
1. DG Set Operating, Operation & Troubleshooting:
• Understanding the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Diesel
Generator (DG) sets.
• Learning starting procedures, load management, and common issues.
2. Transformer Operating, Operation & Troubleshooting:
• Comprehensive training on transformers’ operation, maintenance, and
troubleshooting.
• Covering different types, cooling methods, and insulation testing.
3. HT Panel Operating, Operation & Troubleshooting:
• Learning about High Tension (HT) panels’ operation, protection schemes, and
troubleshooting techniques.
• Ensuring efficient power distribution.
4. LT Panel Operating, Operation & Troubleshooting:
• Understanding the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Low
Tension (LT) panels.
• Covering switchgear components and safety considerations.
5. Induction Motor:
• In-depth knowledge of induction motors, including types, working principles,
and maintenance practices.
• Optimizing efficiency and troubleshooting common issues.
6. Starter (DOL, Reverse Forward & Star Delta Starter):
• Training on various motor starters, including DOL, Reverse Forward, and Star
Delta starters.
• Installation, operation, and troubleshooting practices.
7. All LT Circuit Breaker:
• Understanding types, operation, and maintenance of Low Tension (LT) circuit
breakers.
• Including MCBs, MCCBs, and ACBs.
8. All HT Circuit Breaker:
• Comprehensive training on High Tension (HT) circuit breakers.
• Covering types, operation principles, maintenance, and safety precautions.

9. Maintenance of All System:

Learning preventive and corrective maintenance practices for electrical
systems.
• Including inspection, lubrication, and testing procedures.
10. UPS Basic:
• Introduction to Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems.
• Covering types, operation principles, maintenance, and battery management.
11. Electrical Safety (PPE & LOTO):
• Training on Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) usage and Lockout/Tagout
(LOTO) procedures.
• Ensuring safety during electrical work.
12. House Wiring:
• Understanding fundamentals of house wiring.
• Covering wiring diagrams, cable selection, installation practices, and safety
regulations.
13. Lifts Basic:
• Basic training on elevator systems.
• Including components, operation, maintenance, and safety considerations.
14. Electrical Documents (All Checklist):
• Understanding various electrical documents.
• Including checklists, schematics, and maintenance records for effective
documentation and compliance.
15. English Speaking:
• Integration of English speaking sessions.
• Enhancing participants’ communication skills in technical vocabulary,
customer interaction, and workplace communication.

This course provides a comprehensive and structured approach to electrical
systems, ensuring participants gain practical knowledge and skills in various
aspects of electrical operations and maintenance.

Note- For students going to the Gulf countries for the program, they will be
responsible for the following costs:
• Medical charges: This typically includes the cost of mandatory medical tests

• Visa charges: This refers to the fees associated with applying for and
